HASH(0xa256e420) out of 5 stars Knit and seam Jan. 28 2011
By Lucy Chen - Published on Amazon.com

The patterns are very lovely and there's something for both boys and girls. The author also educates readers how to choose yarn for babies and toddlers, how to design cloth for babies and toddlers (such as what kind of collar and shape of the top etc.) so the little ones enjoy wearing the handknits.

All patterns are knitted separately then seam together. If you don't mind that, I think it's a great book.

HASH(0xa26a6564) out of 5 stars Baby knitting anyone Oct. 29 2010
By Marge - Published on Amazon.com

Design It, Knit It: Babies One way to practice using stitch patterns is to work on small garments, such as baby clothes. Debbie Bliss' new book offers that opportunity. Baby projects are small enough to finish quickly, but large enough to get the idea of how a pattern will work. The Bliss book lacks charts and only relies on knitted patterns and I find that a drawback. But the patterns themselves are enchanting. The sizes offered are generous, since there is rarely a need to knit an item that does not allow a baby to grow. One of the patterns I think I might work up is the Garter-Stitch Cardigan just to have in case I need a shower gift.

HASH(0xa27e0eb8) out of 5 stars OK for beginners Jan. 19 2012

Very ordinary book about knitting for babies although there are a few very nice patterns. Most of the advice in this book is obvious, such as knit large to give children room to grow. Its just common sense.

A nice addition to your knitting library.
Easy patterns to follow. The little boys "moose" sweater is adorable.
I haven't done alot of intarsia knitting and this book is a good start.
It gives you knitter's graph paper and starter charts for the alphabet letters.
Looking forward to using this book quite a bit.
HASH(0xa20e3d74) out of 5 stars If you own "Cotton Knits for All Seasons" by Debbie ... Jan. 26 2016

If you own "Cotton Knits for All Seasons" by Debbie Bliss don't bother buying this book as all of the patterns are contained in the afore mentioned book. Maybe I missed it but I didn't see this mentioned in the description or I never would have bought it. I own several of Debbie Bliss's books and I have noticed quite a bit of repetition in them. IMHO I am becoming less enamoured of her patterns as many of them can be quite frumpy. I know she says that babies don't need much shaping in their garments but I also own a lot of vintage patterns and they seem to have much more of a style element to them.
