But solid, tested-and-true tips about how to plan a major renovation (draw the thing in detail, for example), how best to evaluate one's own style (check your closet for clues), and how to harness colour are relevant to myriad scenarios. In many ways, DesignerGuys reads more like a magazine than a hardcover book, but as Sabados and Hyndman would be quick to point out, their book looks just divine on that granite coffee table in the corner. I REALLY LOVE THE TV SHOW..DESIGN RIVALS. HAD TRIED TO PURCHASE THIS BOOK IN NZ BUT WAS UNABLE TO LOCATE A COPY ANYWHERE!! AS SOON AS I RECV'D IT, I SAT DOWN WITH A COFFEE AND READ MOST OF IT. IT WAS EVERYTHING I HOPED IT WOULD BE...ONLY COMPLAINT (THERE HAS TO BE ONE!!) IT WAS NOT LONG ENOUGH!!!EVERYTHING IS DISPLAYED AND WRITTEN AS THOUGH YOU WERE WATCHING ONE OF THEIR SHOWS SO I FOUND THE FORMAT GREAT. YOU GUYS IN CANADA ARE SPOILT..I ONLY WISH THESE GUYS WOULD PAY A VISIT TO NZ!!! GO AHEAD AND BUY IT, YOU WON'T BE DIS-APPOINTED!

Great looking book, terrific pictures, good advice. However having seen all of their T.V. shows I had expected some new pictures of new clients.
