3.0 out of 5 stars Looseleaf Binder Edition is Great! Oct. 8 2013
By M. H. - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Loose Leaf|Verified Purchase
I ordered this version of the text after first using the digital version on an iPad. This was a huge improvement. Having the ability to remove a section of the book and carry it with me is great. The pages are very thin. That's a problem if you're using a highlighter or a pen for making notes. The printing is small, the line-spacing is narrow, and the lines are long. Those issues make for difficult reading. I found the examples within the chapters to be far too technical -- to the point of losing the thought that was being explained.

1.0 out of 5 stars confusing and dull Nov. 17 2013
By stefanie dram - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Loose Leaf
I find this book not only designed poorly (tiny font, closely spaced, odd grammar and punctuation, etc) but also they have turned a rather interesting topic into one of the worst and overly confusing reads. I would suggest you search for another book, especially considering the cost. Not worth it in my opinion.

Good book for class easy to read, and handle. Book was a little expensive but overall worth it and easy to handle.

1.0 out of 5 stars Why? Aug. 26 2013
By smith1313 - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Kindle Edition
I can buy James Joyce's Ulysses for 5 bucks but some guy writes a college text book and I have to shell out 87 dollars? Ridiculous and shameful. Haven't even read the text, but no book is worth as much as these people charge unless it's an antique.
