1.0 out of 5 stars Desirable Teacher May 26 2011
This movie was not at all what i expected...if you like the old Jerry Lewis style movies then you might like the French version...i thought it was absolutely stupid not worth the purchase price
would not recommend to anyone...picture on cover not even in movie...you see one nude shot from the side that's it nothing else...write up and picture on cover totally deceptive. The main character actor is an adult trying to play a school kid did not work for me...save your money.

2.0 out of 5 stars Desirable Teacher? Yes. Desirable Movie? NO !!! July 19 2010

If you're familiar with 70's Italian sex comedies, then you know that the worst of the bunch were the "insegnante" series, where Edwige Fenech plays an insanely sexy schoolteacher, and the "liceale" series, where Gloria Guida plays a ridiculously sexy high school student. And my appreciation of both actresses has kept me sitting through a genre I'm not a fan of on way too many occasions. While these series were done by the same group of directors (Luciano Martino, Mario Laurenti, Marino Girolami, Michele Tarantini), strangely enough the "insegnante" never met the "liceale", thus passing up a golden opportunity to witness Fenech administer a good sound spanking to the ever-petulant Guida. ( I can dream, can't I?) What both of these series DID share, however, was the annoying comic stylings of Alvaro Vitali, who sometimes played a teacher, but usually played the oldest and goofiest-looking high school student in history. (Italian cinema was in the toilet by the late 70's/early 80's).

This particular film is Alvaro Vitali's train-wreck all the way, I'm sorry to say, and neither Fenech nor Guida is in it (sniff). Through some assinine plot device, Vitali has been sent back to junior high, so all his classmates are basically children. So what we're left with is essentially a 70's Italian forerunner to Adam Sandler's "Billy Madison". God, please kill me now. Vitali's character is a literally a moron who likes to play irksome pranks and insult everybody around him. He has a flatulent grandfather, an frigid older sister, a doting mother, and an overworked restaurateur father. He attends classes with children, but is mature/stupid enough to root around in the bushes with a willing high school babe and later on, fall madly in lust with his sexy substitute teacher.

Vitali is about as annoying as he can be, so the comedy doesn't work at all - remember, I'm no fan. Michaela Mitti, as the sexy substitute, is a third-rate Fenech or Guida when it comes to doing comedy, but has a first-rate figure like the two more famous actresses. It doesn't have as much sex or nudity as most other films in the "insegnante"/"liceale" series, and would be appropriate for a 12-year-old audience today. Bummer. The script is weak, the acting weaker, but once again, MYA lets us down above and beyond all else by utilizing a wretched transfer of a third generation VHS tape that has multiple glitches. Again and again, they abuse their core audience by charging ridiculous prices for horrid copies of bare-bones flicks with lousy and improper specs - I say we boycott these bastards 'till they learn to respect the people who keep them in business. Desirable Teacher? Only if you love detention...
1.0 out of 5 stars The cover is not the DVD Jan. 31 2011

Don't waste your money buying this DVD. It is not really about
a teacher, but some European camp comedy with tons of double
entendres in an old-style Vaudeville fashion. There is nothing
seductive or palable and the photo on the cover is never found
in the movie.
