Product Description

Eighteen-year-old Bridget Hunt has never felt a strong connection with the inhabitants of Fountainhead, California. In fact, she's only close to one person in her entire school--Dana Serenity. After a bizarre meeting between Bridget and Dana's brother, Cary, it becomes apparent that an unknown and powerful force is at work. Bridget, Dana, and Carey are all plagued with an ominous feeling--and they don't have to wait long to find out why.

After surviving an unexpected and vicious attack, Bridget, Dana, and Cary hear a tale of three mystical warriors called "Destiny's Knights." The warriors, from the parallel world of Earth, have the ability to save the planet Marduk from its evil attackers. Several signs will reveal the students' true identities as the Knights: seeing a magical coin, surviving the attack of a Baku--one of the deadliest creatures in Marduk--and uncovering the true identities of the messenger elf and his three friends.

Considering that the trip to Marduk alone has the potential to kill them, the teenage trio wonders how they can possibly stop an army one million strong once they reach the planet. Will Bridget, Cary, and Dana find the strength within them to fulfill the prophecy of Destiny's Knights?

5.0 out of 5 stars Destiny's Knights, April 1 2006
By K. Jasper - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Destiny's Knights (Paperback)
This is an engaging and exciting book. The characters make you laugh out loud and the action is well scripted. As a fan of fantasy fiction, this book ranks right up with some of my other favorites. One of the best aspects of this book is the witty dialogue and insights into the teens' thoughts...very realistic. Marduk is decidedly far removed from our planet, yet the main characters are truly more down to Earth. Highly recommended!

5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderfully original read!!!!, Jan 23 2005
By Alan the avid reader - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Destiny's Knights (Paperback)
I read this book on an adobe pdf that a friend gave me as a gift. I'm not usually into fantasy, but I loved this book!!!! I started reading it late at night thinking I would read a few pages and then go to sleep...several hours later, I was tired, my eyes were very red and hurting from staring at the computer screen for far too long, but I was left utterly happy having spent my night finishing this book.

It's a little rough (the publisher iUniverse I checked is a self publishing house and doesn't always give the author an editor) but it's well worth the slight flaws. Pace plays jokingly plays with standard cliche's (like two people who hate each other are bound to fall in love...you'll never see how he changes that one coming). It was also wonderful to see high school students written more like my own children--thinking, educated, articulate--instead of the jock or geek cliche alone.

It was clear from the end there will be more book to this series and I eagerly await their coming out.

I was saddened to see Amazon doesn't have it in stock yet (hopefully they'll get their act together and this part won't be needed), but if you want a copy (and you should, trust me) it's available at iuniverse.com.

A Kid's Review - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Destiny's Knights (Paperback)
While this book could use a good editor, it is definitely worth reading. So many fantasy books follow the same plot line; it is refreshing to find a writer with a new, creative, intriguing story. I too stayed up until my eyes burned to find out what would happen! I think we can expect great things from Mr. Pace in the future of this series.
