Amazing book - an author to watch!,

At this year's Word On The Street in Toronto, I picked up a copy of Richard Scarsbrook's new short story collection, Destiny's Telescope. I got a chance to speak with him, and I was struck by his sincerity and intelligence. I had never heard of him until this point, so I'm really glad I encountered him - Destiny's Telescope is one of the best books I've read in years!Every story in the book is compellingly plotted and masterfully written, but it is the subtle subtext behind each story that elevates the experience of reading this book to an almost spiritual level. Each story is wise and moving in it's own unique way, yet they the sum of the stories together is even more powerful. You probably haven't read anything by this dynamic young author, but you should. I have a feeling he is "destined" for great things!
