4.0 out of 5 stars Where is The Chauffeur? Jan. 11 2013
By V. Buttino TOP 500 REVIEWER
Format:Blu-ray|Verified Purchase
It's great to see this band performing together again (minus Andy Taylor)! It's been a few years since their last concert disc was released, so A Diamond In The Mind was a welcome surprise for 2012. Don't ask me why I waited so long to purchase it, as I'm a HUGE fan of DD. I guess this disc was something that slipped to the back of my mind for a while and I only just remembered to order it a couple weeks ago.

The picture and sound quality is superb (as always) - DD always makes sure that their concert discs are produced to the tee! The special effects that were used throughout the show were effective and lent an edge to some of their songs. This particular DD tour was for the release of All You Need Is Now, so it's no surprise that a good half of their song list on this disc was devoted to that album's tracks. You'll still find the old favourites on here, but notably missing was The Chauffeur (off of 1982's megahit Rio). I look forward to them performing this haunting track on every concert DVD, so when it wasn't included in this song list, I was very disappointed. That's the only reason I gave this Bluray 4 stars instead of 5.

There are three bonus features on this disc: a behind-the-scenes doc of the show, and two bonus tracks: Come Undone and Is There Something I Should Know?

5.0 out of 5 stars DD better in concert today than ever! Sept. 7 2012
By Nivlass
Format:Blu-ray
I have been fortunate to have seen Duran Duran twice on their recent tour promoting their latest and excellent CD - All You Need is Now. Simon Le Bon sounds better than ever and the band is, as always awesome. Their lead guitarist, Dom Brown is fab, backings by Anna Ross and brilliant sax by Simon Willescroft.

This concert DVD is worth every penny. Brilliant songs they are known for and new songs they should become known for.

5.0 out of 5 stars I'm Not A Huge Fan But I Enjoyed It June 21 2013
By Rob
Format:Blu-ray|Verified Purchase
I have to admit, for not being much of a fan (my wife is), I actually enjoyed this concert. The band members are very entertaining, especially John Taylor. He's comical. Lots of good tunes from the past as well as some newer ones. I would recommend it.
