I am an entry-level engineer in an aerospace company. I found that this dictionary is useful for understanding some of the terms that are used.

3.0 out of 5 stars A pilot's comments, Dec 12 1999
By
This review is from: Dictionary of Aeronautical Terms (Paperback)
Although this dictionary is big, there are a significant number of terms I was unable to find that are important to instrument/commercial pilots - visual descent point (VDP), for example.

Seems to be more engineering/maintenance oriented because those types of terms are exhaustively covered.
