4.0 out of 5 stars Classmates will ask to borrow this book, May 16 2002
This review is from: Dictionary of Internetworking Terms and Acronyms (Paperback)
I purchased this book as a suppliment to my Cisco Academy 1st - 4th Semester books. It's a dictionary and came in very useful for many assignments in the Cisco Lab books and Engineering Journals. I generally used it at home, but when I brought it to class my friends flocked to it as a quick, easy reference for definitions (Of which you are asked hundreds the first 4 quarters). It's not expensive so buy one and give yourself a break on that homework.

3.0 out of 5 stars Quite good, but a few typos here and there, Aug 30 2001

This review is from: Dictionary of Internetworking Terms and Acronyms (Paperback)
This book would turn out to be a great book without the TYPOS... It has extensive coverage on ATM, Frame Relay and other telecommunication-only terms... Many "NEW" Terms and Acronyms are included for example 3G Mobile stuff... which isnt much of a surprise since it was first published in January 2001...
My advice? wait for the Second Edition.

1.0 out of 5 stars For your mom, maybe!, Aug 13 2001

This review is from: Dictionary of Internetworking Terms and Acronyms (Paperback)
This book has failed to define anything useful for me. It has very few terms for the number of pages, and the two sentence long definitions seem to be written for people outside of the computer industry. Not helpful at all.
