Everybody knows the Neverending Story; almost no one knows that it was originally written in German! I've only been taking German for a year and I muddled through it all right, so it doesn't take any fabulous proficiency in the language--it's a wonderful book!

I have been looking for this item for many years, and I've found it here. This is one of the best stories ever written, and having read the english translation and learning that it was originally written in german, I decided I must have it. The movie based on the english translation is good if one considers the movie independently of the book, which is twice as long. The original german version is both good for reading and is collectible. Definitely five stars.

While the item is in good condition it took about 3 weeks longer to recieve the book then promised. I was updated on the shipping status and even given the option to get my money back, which was nice but I still needed my book.
