Format: Kindle Edition
This is a great way of eating. I have lost many pounds following this plan and wanted it in a more portable format so downloaded the Kindle version. The only problem I found was that the food charts were such low resolution images that they were readable but just barely. There was no ability to scroll down over the list or increase the size exect by one level which was insufficient to read if your vision is poor. It was still worth buying to me as it is secondary to my original hard copy.

Very helpful handby book June 20 2009
By T. Clark - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback Verified Purchase
This book is a nice, handy pocket size for taking to stores & restaurants. However, since it was published for the UK, & I am in the US, there are several places & items that we don't have here. It's still helpful though!

Not much for the US resturants... July 22 2013
By Lisa Melton - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback Verified Purchase
This book is an okay book, but was written with foreign country restaurants in mind more so than the US. If you've purchased the original or even the revised version of "The GI Diet" you really don't need this book, because it just goes through the same stuff that book does. It's small enough to fit into your purse in case you want a guide to take with you, but that's about all.
Easy to follow March 2 2013

This is a great reference guide to have on hand!! Easy for quick shopping and busy, on the go people!
Great dining out section Oct. 15 2012
By Ron Packard Jr. - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition Verified Purchase
The dining out section covers most international cuisines and fast food as well. It's not too much theory, but spot on for what to eat and not eat. Mostly it's a big duh, I ought to know that, but didn't. That works for me! All I do is eat out ;-)
Great for diabetics July 17 2013
By TJ Mac - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback Verified Purchase
I've been looking for something simple for my husband to use to help him choose foods. He's a diabetic and has a hard time giving up his favoriates. This little book has made it easy for him to use to make groceriey lists and use as a quick reference.
