I didnt like this album at the beginning simply because i couldnt understand it. Sure there are some songs that arent really good, but some tracks are so good that i would have paid for them alone, 'Money Dont Own Me' with RZA rapping with an incredible laid back flow over the ill bass line that really puts you in a 'Bobby Digital Mood'.. , 'You Cant Stop Me Now' featuring Inspecta Deck, 'Try Ya Ya Ya', 'Dont Be Afraid' that is so light hearted and rhytmic that it can pull someone out of a badtrip on mushrooms (personal experience). And some others too.

Original and well-thought lyrics is the other part where the RZA shines, as usual.

Have no expectation, but the album is certainly worth a careful listen.

(English isnt my first language, sorry if some parts are difficult to understand)

2.0 out of 5 stars Back Again As Bobby Digital Sept. 6 2008
By Nick
Format:Audio CD
RZA, the well known Wu-Tang Clan Member is back with his final version of Bobby Digital. I was reading about this LP before I bought it and was sceptical about it with all the good and bad reviews, they were about even. So It was really hard to decide either to buy it or not. But I saw it on sale and I was buying alot more CD's so I thought oh well and grabbed it. "Drama" (Ft. Monk & Thea Van Seijen) is the best song on the record, real catchy fresh beat but still not one of RZA's best work but kills the mic. "Good Night" (Ft. Rev. Burk, Thea Van Seijen & Crisis), "Try Ya Ya Ya" (Ft. Thea Van Seijen), "Long Time Coming", "Bobby Trap" (Ft. Dexter Wiggles) & "You Can't Stop Me Now" (Ft. Inspectah Deck) are the only other songs that are worth listening too. The rest have weak beats that just arn't RZA. Overall, the songs that were worth listening too we're what makes up the 2 stars, the rest is what makes it only 2 stars. One of the worst RZA albums, but true Wu fans have to add it to their collection. Come harder next time RZA.

3.0 out of 5 stars Just OK July 29 2008
By Siskel - Published on Amazon.com

I've been a fan of RZA for as long as he's been in the business. But as one of his biggest fans I am obligated to be critical of him. This album is not one of his best efforts and his fans should know that. First of all he doesn't really spit on every track all the way through. His album is riddled with appearences which are not memorable but just annoying. I really only want to hear RZA or Wu-affiliates that have skill. Last but not least is the laziness of his rhymes which is unusual. Overall the beats are tight and because of that it's worth copping. It's just too bad the hidden track was the best one.

4.0 out of 5 stars BOBBY DIGITAL June 27 2008
By Kid Hyperbarix - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Audio CD
The common denominator-Bobby Digital went to work on this one!
Implementing the West Coast Killer Beez (Black Knights, Christ Bearer etc.) and other contributing artists/bands on this album-Bobby Digital apparently is getting better with age-utilizing his resources. Hip hop fans all around the world can truly appreciate the effort on this solo project. Bobby Digital gives his listeners more raw material to snack on with "Digi Snacks."

The ability to create an entire cohesive album takes superior focus and creativity. The thing once again constant here is change. Every song varies in tempo and tone so that the album doesn't become monotone/stagnant. He also shows his audience once again that words of wisdom are like a magnet to the ear. Bobby Digital displays the art of MCeeeing & DJing on many levels-total self expression-constantly striving towards his perfection-becoming an expert. The kid is like Bruce Lee to martial arts! I knew this was nice when my girl was zoning out to "Drama."

In all reality ,this album is like a solid 4.5 (A true 5 would still have to be on the level of a Cuban Linx/ Liquid Swords/Wu-Tang Forever-which usually require a total Clan effort). -Check it out!

Once again RZA brings the best hip hop has to offer. Extremely wonderful CD that you can play from beginning to end with no skips. Something for everyone. Favorite track is the hidden joint. I will continue to support him and buy all the product he makes, so I can enjoy him for years to come. I hope all his "fans" will too. Suuuuuuuuuuuuuu!

5.0 out of 5 stars Try Ya Ya Ya!! June 26 2008
By Darth Maul - Published on Amazon.com

Yes sir. I wish everyone would do that now a days when making a album and hip hop would not be in the state it is in. Anyway, my title tells you what my favorite song is. I love the anthem. I even like the cut 'Straight up the Block' produced by David Banner ( Hey, music is music and mixing things up ain't bad) And 'Creep' is on some sexy grimmy Wu-Tang. All the 'heads' will love this album because it makes you sit and ANALYZE what the Bobby Digital Concept is all about. But this album even got some cuts for those who just want to bump something in their rides. If I have any criticism ( if any) it would be.........8 Diagrams was good, but it needed more if this flavor on it. COP THIS!
