3.0 out of 5 stars Ignorance is spreading...., Nov 12 2006

I laugh at the inaccuracies of most of the reviews I see here. Picked the worst episodes of the season? Not at all. These are the FIRST 13 episodes IN ORDER, which is what everyone should want.

And blame Fox for bad children's television, when they are only airing a show produced in Japan and dubbed into English by others?

And Digimon a poor Pokemon clone, when in fact Digimon came FIRST and is more popular in Japan than Pokemon?

Get your facts straight, people. You can dislike the series if you like, but don't make up lies to support your dislike.

Also, dual audio Japanese and English would be difficult as the English version was rearranged.

I would be happy if the full first two seasons were released on DVD. The third season (Tamers) I find to be horrible.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Collection, Nov 9 2003

This review is from: Digimon Season 1 (DVD)
I think this collection is the best Digimon DVD on the market. With the fourth season of Digimon in progress, you never get to see how the series began anymore. Now, here are the first 13 episodes of the first season on one disc. The collection is filled with tons of action packed battles and each of the seven digi-destined children has at least one episode that focuses almost exclusively on him or her, so you get to know the entire cast. If you have any remote interest in Digimon, this collection is an absolute must. It covers the series up to and including the battle with Devimon.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Show that you can really get into., Nov 13 2004
By A Customer
This review is from: Digimon Season 1 (DVD)
First off this is not a pokemon clone at all, the concept is much different not to mention it was created in japan before pokemon, it just became available in america a few years after pokemon. In my opinion Digimon is much better than pokemon because you get to see the characters personalities in great depth and i found it very hard not to watch every episode. In fact seasons 1 and 2 i watched every single episode. This movie is the beginning of it all.
