I just love Guy and watch Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives on the Food Network whenever I can catch it. It's one of my favorites. I like the book but wish it was a teeny bit better. It looks like it was produced very quickly and cheaply. The recipes are great! I suppose I just wanted more of an overview of the restaurants he visited and wanted it to be a bit more fun. I guess what I was looking for was more color photos. I'll just have to go back and watch more TV shows...or buy the DVDs.

I watch this show all the time,and really enjoy it.I was hoping there would be some of the really good recipes in it,but I was disappointed that it was more of a "map of where to go". It felt like I was watching reruns of the show.

If you're a fan of the show this is a great companion book as well as including some selected recipe highlights from the series. A must have for food lovers, Guy never fails to entertain and showcases some of the most amazing hidden gems holding that wholesome goodness.
