Much of the research for this book was conducted "on the road." As a professional speaker, I travel extensively and eat out at least 500 times a year. As a PhD nutritionist speaking on health, I can't dare to put on extra weight. Nor do I want to be bored when dining out.
About the Author
Dr. Joanne Lichten is an accomplished speaker, spokesperson, and author on areas of personal change including Conflict Management, Overcoming Negativity, Stress Solutions, and Wellness. Dr. Lichten has presented over 1000 seminars/keynotes and has appeared in hundreds of TV and radio shows across the United States. She has two degrees in nutrition (MS in Human Nutrition, Virginia Polytechnic Institute) and her doctorate in Adult Education (Texas A&M University). Now President of her own company, she has had years with experience as a Registered Dietitian/nutrition counselor and professor at University of Texas, Pan American.
