"Dining Lean breaks out healthy choices by appetizer, accompaniments, sauces, and entrees in a variety of ethnic and chain restaurants." -- Marlene Fedin, Frequent Flyer Magazine

"If you're on a perpetual diet, a quest to eat healthy, or just curious about the dietary impacts of dining out, then this handy nutritional guide was written just for you. The book also includes information on what to avoid - and what to order - for healthy eating at restaurants varying from Indian to Italian." -- Independent Publisher

"Joanne V. Lichten, a dietitian and PhD, has written a new guide on how to eat healthfully while eating out. It contains listings of hundreds of fast food and other restaurant foods, plus actual-size drawings of portions to help you make dine-out decisions." -- Ann Criswell, Houston Chronicle

Book Description

Bored with salad, grilled chicken, and dry toast? Dining Lean doesn't have to mean deprivation. There are healthy choices in every restaurant. Dining Lean shows you how to order your favorite foods without clogging your arteries or putting on pounds!

From the Publisher

The most comprehensive, up-to-date, nutritional guidebook for people who like to eat out!

From the Author

Much of the research for this book was conducted "on the road." As a professional speaker, I travel extensively and eat out at least 500 times a year. As a PhD nutritionist speaking on health, I can't dare to put on extra weight. Nor do I want to be bored when dining out.
