Bringing Quebec to the world, Nov 27 2008
An amazing collection of songs, performances, costumes, guests, hair, surprises, suspence and quality vocals from our Céline. Not only does she rehearse, create and put together the show for Quebec's 400th birthday, but she gives her stage to some great inspiring artists from Quebec. Amongst my favourites have to be Claude Dubois and Jean-P Ferland. The show starts off with rehearsals, then preparations for the show, her taking chances world tour rundown and then a 2 and a half hours of entertainment with an audience of over 250,000 spectators. Although Céline is by far an amazing stage presence, she let's tears flow freely and dances and jokes and rocks and sways! Look out for the big big big finalé when Ginette Reno, Céline and JP Ferland give DIVA a new meaning and bring together their past, their stories, and their future. Mind blowing. Céline then continues her world tour, with the energy of a lion and the love of a little kitten, the next evening.

Celine at home sur les Plaines, Feb 21 2009
Im a Céline Dion fan from Belgium.
Ive seen her Live in Antwerp 13th of May 2008 and Ive been following her Taking Chances tour on YOU TUBE since the beginning. I wanted to come to Quebec and be part of this once in a lifetime event but unfortunately I couldnt make it.
So I started searching for this DVD on the internet.
Then finally it arrived by courier. I was so excited; I wanted to play it immediately.
Then I realized my DVD-player couldnt read the DVD as it was set in another regional code.
As I dont know a lot about such technical things it took me some time and help to sort this out So people in Europe, or elsewhere, dont panic, just change the regional code from your DVD-player into 0 (zero) and it works perfectly.
Now you want me to say something about the content of the DVD
Well sur les Plaines can be considered as one of Célines most stunning, touching, moving, sensational shows ever
It is pure, it is live, loaded with energy, joy and also tears (of happiness).
If you are sceptical about Celine Dion as a singer, I think this is the show that will convince you about her honesty and vocal quality. She is a great performer, a humble artist, and talented singer.
During this show, she shares the stage with some great artists, who are mostly unknown in Europe, apart from Garou but I can assure you they sound amazing, apart and together with Céline.
Look out for the last part when Céline, and JP Ferland warm up the stage for the legendary Ginette Reno!!!
Et pour terminer: Je peux vous dire que cette finale entre Céline et Ginette est tellement puissant et étouffant. Sois bien assuré que vos mouchoirs sont près de vous .

If you haven't seen some cuts from this show, it was a great show. Yes it's all in french but I think it still worth it and more so, if you are an Celine fan. Like she says at the beginning of the show "This show we will do it only once, but I will remember it all my life". That how much this show meant to Celine.
Si vous avez vu des extraits de ce spectacle et que vous aimez Celine et les autres invités de ce méga spectacle, vous devez absolument vous procurer ce DVD. Comme Céline le dit si bien au début du spectacle: "Ce show là on va le faire juste une fois...mais moi je veux m'en rappelé toute ma vie". Une seule fois!!! Il faut l'avoir.
