This is a great book for someone interested in learning the story of the Dionne Quintuplets. Berton gives a very good overall outline of their story up until their teenage years. Although there are no personal interviews with the quints themselves Berton has complied many interviews and sources to back up the story that he tells. The Dionne Years is and excellent starting point in Dionne research.

This one was one of the best books about the Dionne's. It wasn't at all one-sided like so many others. The pitures are excellent, and Mr. Burton's style is smooth and understandable. It allows you to form you own opinion and understand what really happpend, since it was such a complicated story, with alot of twist and turns. Enjoy!

I have read this book so many times, I literally wore it out, and ordered another copy of it. I have a great interest in the Dionne Quintuplets, since I am related to them. It really told the story of how they fought for their lives, and how the fight to save them created a rift between the family and the medical team, and then in the family itself after they were reunited with them at nine years of age. A very tragic story. A great read for anyone who has an interest in these remarkable children who beat great odds and survived when no one thought they would.
