D B Newton is a remarkable author. From the first chapter and arrival of Ed Bannon, 'Disaster Creek' is that. On the run from the man with a scarred face, Bannons' past lies will soon be public knowledge. Newton writes with an eye for action, and heart for adventure. Like any Newton novel, 'Disaster Creek', is hard to put down, and even harder to forget. Talented authors never go out of style.

This is a very easy read and simple to follow story line which, at times, is refreshing. Pacing of the story was excellent. Had a positive ending which is always nice. Book was of special interest to me as I am quite familiar with Mitchell, Oregon, and the area around this community.
