She has been at the Toronto Star, Canada's largest newspaper, for 16 years -- as food editor for 11 and now as a food columnist. Before that, she was food editor at the Toronto Sun for six years.

Enjoyable easy reading and some good recipes,

I have clipped several recipes from Marion Kane's columns throughout the years and this book contains many of them. I enjoy her style of writing and the interesting and often unusual food-related topics she finds to write about. I like her frankness about the difficult background she came from.
