5.0 out of 5 stars Too Much Fun!!! Jun 24 2002
By P. S. Rouse - Published on Amazon.com
Many games based on films are a disapointment but this one isn't! The graphics are fantastic and the action is non-stop! Each level unlocks another movie clip which is rendered here beautifully. Passwords are available to allow you to come back to where you left off. Be sure to do some research for the secret codes (I got a few that were mentioned in my Disney Club newsletter) so you can maximize your playing enjoyment!! Be sure to also collect the pictures you find along the way as they will unlock an added bonus clip at the end of the game...

I bought my game at a retail place I won't mention Saturday after seeing the movie.. The price on Amazon is a good one if you can wait (which I couldn't) will save you looking around for the best deal. I bought my Game Boy Advance specifically because I knew this game wasn't compatable to my Gameboy Color.. I have other games for my Gameboy Advance (Glacier).. but this game alone makes it totally worth my upgrading. If you play Gameboy Advance, get yourself this game! It's totally worth it and endless fun!!

4.0 out of 5 stars Very very cool July 23 2002

This game would probably not be so much fun if I hadn't seen and loved the movie as much as I did! Graphically, the looks and animations of the characters and settings are modeled beautifully after those of the film, and the game is a joy just to look at, let alone play! Stitch himself is fairly weak compared to his amazing strengths in the movie, and he can only withstand four hits from his enemies (which are easy to sustain given some of the heavy-fire situations coupled with Stitch's somewhat slow movements), but generous spreads of weapons and health powerups help to balance that out. Lilo's stages (the ones where she's required to sneak around an alien starship in an attempt to escape) are actually the most compelling; while Stitch's are fairly straightforward shoot-em-ups, Lilo's are more puzzle-oriented and fun to solve. Once you've gotten a feel for the game's nuances, it's actually a lot of fun and not too terribly difficult until you encounter the main boss, Dr. Pestus himself... *he* is a royal pain in the ..., but has predictable patterns that can be discerned after a while. My favorite thing about this game is that it's a wonderfully accurate homage to the movie it's based on, and if you loved "Lilo & Stitch," then you're more than ceratain to glean quite a bit of entertainment value out of playing through this game and unlocking the adorable movie stills and clips as rewards for your progress.

4.0 out of 5 stars Pretty Nice Game Jun 21 2004
A Kid's Review - Published on Amazon.com
Okay, when I started playing Lilo and Stitch and saw that you had to kill the aliens with your gun, I thought: 'Peh. Another leap-and-dodge-em game.' But eventually I got interested in it and nearly passed the first level. (Geez, I haven't even passed level 1 yet!) I had to go online to get passwords for some of the other levels cuz I was getting sick of playing level 1 over...and over...and over...
Unfortunately, the game's storyline is nothing like the movie unlike the PC game. In GBA Lilo and Stitch you have to stop Dr. Pestus and these mousquito guys. Gameplay is slightly difficult. Reccommended for ages 9+.
