Everything you need to know about marital break-up
Divorce: A Canadian Womans Guide
is the only book any woman considering a divorce, about to go through a divorce, or in the process of divorcing will need. A guide to all aspects of marital break-up, its also a book of stories from women who have come through their divorce in one piece. And woven among the stories are the ins and outs of legal and financial traps; the treacherous black ice that is the court system; the muck and sludge of custody issues; and the imbroglio of the financial settlement.Twice divorced, three times married, a mother and a stepmother, Gail brings to her writing a wealth of first-hand experience. And her skills as one of Canadas leading financial writers and as a journalist inform the weightier aspects of the book.
More on divorce:
"Gail Vaz-Oxlade provides vital information about all aspects of the process: from legal to financial to emotional. Woven into the practical information are real-life stories of women who have lived through divorces; told in their own words, these stories illustrate the potential pitfalls and opportunities of the process. This thorough guidebook is a must for any woman on the road to divorce."
