A pretty good 3rd series of the revival of Doctor Who. This series goes from strength to strength, before falling a bit flat at it's conclusion in the final episode because of the deus ex machina ending.

Tennant in two seasons has firmly imprinted himself upon the role and in the years to come, will likely be THE Doctor for a whole generation of fans, just like Tom Baker was to those of us who grew up watching the Classic series.

Highlights of the season would be the stories Gridlock, 42, the Human Nature 2-parter and Blink (a Doctor-lite episode that is a full 5/5 stars regardless).

But, one big problem and that's the price comparison... with the Canadian dollar on par (or higher) vs the US greenback, amazon.ca needs to explain to it's customers why this can be bought significantly cheaper off of it's .com site.

Buying this along with Time-Flight and Arc of Infinity, both released on the same date, from amazon.com instead of amazon.ca will save Candadians over $30, even after paying for shipping.

Hey guys!

This is an amazing boxset! Another award winning season for the Who gang. Best episodes being the "Family of Blood" two parter and the chilling "Blink" episode.

I'm going to get it. But not from Amazon.ca! I'm going to Amazon.com. They have it for only $64.99 American....which if you do your conversion, makes it around $62.99 Canadian (current dollar at 1.06 ) Now my question is why Amazon.ca had this movie available for pre order at $88.99 Canadian and now suddenly we find it at the price it is at now!! Somebody's trying to rip us Canadians off! :)

Again like the others this season was fantastic. The really nice plots with the intricate way the Doctor comes out in the end. As well some of the plots in this series are quiet in depth. Where you had to pay attention in order to understand future shows, which for anyone who has attention to detail makes it that much more fun.

And as always the action, with the under lying of humor is always a fun combination, with great graffic effects makes the stories that much more immersible. Attention to details is one this but as long as your not a nit picky person who has to scrutinize, and take notes on every detail you should really enjoy this series.

I have been a Dr Who fan since the beginning,40 odd years. The new series which started with Christopher Ecclestone and Billie Piper renewed my interest and now with David Tennant in the lead role it has not missed a beat and is as entertaining as it gets.Writer and producer Russel T. Davis
with the help of the BBC Wales Orchestra keeps the excitment moving along in fast pace that never bores.Lots of new ideas and stories but the old favourites The Deleks are still the Dr's nemisis.
Don't miss the spin off series Torchwood with our hero Captain Jack.

Doctor Who is a great series. I got this for my Mom for Christmas 2012, and she was extremely happy. This was a great buy and not too expensive!
