Product Description

Product Description

The Chelsea Flower Show - hardly the most exciting or dangerous event in the calendar, or so Doctor thinks. But this is Chelsea 426, a city-sized future colony floating on the clouds of Saturn, and the flowers are much more than they seem. As the Doctor investigates, a familiar foe arrives, and the stakes suddenly get much higher. The Sontarans have plans of their own, and they're not here to arrange flowers...

5.0 out of 5 stars Superior Who, May 28 2010

Have now read this novel, in addition to his other Who novel, Night of the Humans and am just as pleased by this one as the first. I've read a lot of Who novels & usually been disappointed (dark, depressing, trying to establish canon against the spirit of the TV show, etc.) but David Llewellyn gets it just right. Both of his novels could easily have been used for television series. Highly recommended.

4.0 out of 5 stars Vivid and engaging, Mar 16 2010
By D. OBrien "BSDetector" - Published on Amazon.com
This is another companionless Tenth Doctor tale, but a good one. It includes a good look at the Sonatarans and another alien species from the older series. The characters are colorful, and the ending is neither over-worked nor rushed. The epilogue is curious, but one expects at least one enigmatic element.

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect for all ages (capable of understanding scientifical terms), Oct 16 2010
By A Customer - Published on Amazon.com
I have to say that this book is extremely interesting and is capable for all ages to read. David Llewelyn is by far my favorite author in the doctor who series, he always likes to jump write into the story and thats what I love about his books. This book takes you on an exciting adventure that includes two temporary assistants, and the man himself the Doctor (the last of the time lords).
