Thank You Dog Lovers for buying Patricks Book, Dog is my Copilot June 21 2012
By James Carney - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Hardcover Verified Purchase
I have been a pilot for Pilots N Paws since the spring of 2009. I can tell you this, after flying around the world as an Airline Pilot, flying for Pilots N Paws has been some of the most rewarding flying I have ever done. However, we, the pilots have the easy job. It is the rescues who work around the clock to help save the defenseless who are the real HEROES. Please, go to your local Animal Shelter and offer to help. Remember, every Animal sitting in a shelter is there because of human neglect. Please, don't forget to spread the word, spay or neuter.
Please,,, Adopt from a shelter
From the bottom of my Heart,
Thank you!!

5 Wagging Tails - this book is a winner! June 21 2012
By San Clemente Dog Mom - Published on Amazon.com

If you have a heart you will love this book. Each animal's story is short, well written, and contains beautiful pictures of animals and their saviors. Some of the stories, those detailing cruelty to an innocent life, are difficult to imagine but, unfortunately, are reality. However, thanks to the dedicated shelter and rescue workers, foster parents and the volunteers of pilots N Paws, each story has a happy ending. I couldnt put the book down and when it ended I wanted more. It is amazing, and will restore your faith in people, to read of the time, efforts and money individuals will give to save the lives of these sweet animals. This beautiful book is a "must read" for every animal lover and for every person who has ever wondered "can just one person make a difference".
Note: Truth in writing. I am the mother of the pilot in the story "All Species Airway" and the loving mother of a delightful senior rescue dog.

Wagging tails take to the sky. June 19 2012

If you've ever loved an animal, you owe it to yourself to get this book. True "tails" of pet rescue enabled by the wonderful pilots who share their time & love of flying to move pets of all kinds from the "jaws of danger" to the safety of rescues, fur-ever homes or shelters where they will eventually find a loving home. My only regret is that every story can't be told in this book~~but that's because they are too numerous & happening EVERY day. If you loved the book, then treat yourself to more stories of rescues by Pilots N Paws by checking out their site at [...]
You won't regret it.

5 paws up! So uplifting and inspirational. Read and get involved! June 29 2012

Patrick spent countless hours researching this book and actually flying some of the transports. I know as one of my dogs "The Round-Tripper" was featured. I also have been involved directly with the shelters, pulling dogs, and coordinating and flying transports. This book tells it all - the emotional bonds, the love and support of all involved and of course the true heart throbs - the dogs and their perpetual, unconditional love. This book is a MUST READ for everyone - adults and children alike. If you don't own a dog - you need to experience the incredible bond. If you already own one, adopt another one - one that needs a loving, nurturing, forever home. Adopt from your local Animal Shelter, SPCA or Humane Society. Never adopt from a puppy mill. Spay and neuter. Save lives! THIS BOOK IS WONDERFUL!

A wonderful, inspiring book.... June 20 2012
By Denise G - Published on Amazon.com

I've been following PNP since Debi Boies first mentioned it on a Doberman Rescue chat list several years ago. The book is a wonderful read and the stories very inspiring. The pictures make each and every story more heartwarming. As the owner of a rescue Doberman I can relate to Jon Wehrenberg's comments that somehow rescue dogs know they're finally safe and that a whole new world awaits them. Heartfelt thanks to the pilots and rescue community who give so freely of their time and resources to help the animals who have no voice of their own. This book is a "must read" for all who have ever loved an animal.
