Album Details

The Muti-platinum Us Shock-rockers Fronted by the Enigmatic Blackie Lawless Continue on their Path of World-wide Domination by Traveling Back to their Destructive Musical Roots. Lawless was Quoted in an Interview, "it is Based on the Idea of Western Imperialism and About What's Wrong with Washington D.c. It's Important that People Understand this is Not About the American People and it is Not a Critique on the American People — it is a Critique on the Government in the United States. If Someone Looks at the Lyrics of 'dominator', They'll Think It's a Man Talking to a Woman. And I Like the Interesting Concept of that Because That's What Bigger Countries Do to Smaller Countries — They Toss them Like They're their Bitch." Includes the Alternate Song, "Deal with the Devil".

4.0 out of 5 stars Their best album in a decade, Oct 14 2008

After the mediocre Neon God albums, W.A.S.P. come back rockin'! I would have to say it's their best album since K.F.D.

Like all W.A.S.P. albums, the songs vary from hard rockers like Mercy, The Burning Man and Teacher, to ballads like Heaven's Hung in Black and Take Me Up. I've been a W.A.S.P. fan for a long time and I think all long time fans will enjoy this album, or at least find something they like about it.

In short, Dominator isn't their absolute best, but it's worth checking out.

3.0 out of 5 stars Nice Work Wasp, Mar 9 2008
This review is from: Dominator (Audio CD)
Okay I still listen to I wanna be someboday, the flame, School Daze, F###k like a beast, Wild Child, On your knees B.A.D. and I can go on
But really I havn't heard of WASP in a long time so I tried this album out. And NICE WORK, I've got my old friends cranking up some new WASP in the garage while pounding back some beers and they can't believe how good they sound.
1. Take me up - Wow what a great tune, just this song is worth the album
2. Mercy - Nice work for the 2nd best tune on the album
3. Heaven's hung in black - Nice Ballad
Thats it thats the album these 3 songs for me. For an old 80's group to be rocking in the 2000's....Nice work!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars A killer album from WASP!, Jun 7 2007

Well, this album won't change your world, but it's exactly what you would expect from a WASP album- groundbreaking, loud and brutal melodies, excellent vocals from Blackie Lawless and you'll feel lucky that they don't try to do pretentious or modern things, because they are WASP! And they sound more authenic than the vast majority of the newer bands in the same style. And that's why I love them!
