-- Kelsey Grammer, star of the hit TV series Frasier, Executive Producer of the NBC television series Medium
"I have been fortunate enough to work side by side with Allison as a research medium. She is accurate, compassionate, and full of integrity -- in a word, brilliant."
-- Laurie Campbell, Director, Research Mediums Committee, Human Energy Systems Laboratory
"Allison DuBois is a gifted medium who has dazzled us and our audience. She's been referred to as 'the Michael Jordan of mediums' and has proven to be worthy of that distinction. Her book is compassionate and poignant. A must-read for anyone who's struggling to understand the mystery of death and the afterlife."
--Chad Lewis and Terry Fisk, hosts of the radio talk show The Unexplained and authors of the Road Guide to Haunted Locations books
"Allison's greatest strength is her ability to balance equally within herself the qualities of love and compassion with those of courage and tenacity. In laboratory research readings, both the specificity and the accuracy of the information she conveys are repeatedly remarkable."
--Dr. Julie Beischel, PH.D., Assistant Director, The Veritas Research Program
She can predict future events and read your mind.
When she was six years old, Allison's deceased great-grandfather came to her with a message for her mother: "I am okay, I am still with you. Tell your mom there's no more pain." Allison shared his comforting words with her mother and thus began a lifetime of creating connections between loved ones and those they have lost.
In this stunning book, Allison shares fascinating stories of her encounters with people who have passed and her adventures as a profiler for various law enforcement organizations. With wit and compassion, Allison shows us what it is like to live with these special gifts and talents and also tells about her struggle to live a normal life as a devoted wife and mother. She shows how learning to accept her own gifts has helped her accept the unique gifts of others and how her compelling desire to relieve the pain of others has helped to define her own life, a life committed to the search for ultimate truth.

This review is from: Don't Kiss Them Good-bye (Paperback)
although this is interesting subject, it is written poorly. She may be a good medium, but she lacks the skills of good writing.the one thing that kept coming across for me was her lack of warmth, it reads like a memo. It's a shame as I feel she has something to say, she should hire a ghost writer for the next book. If you have never read anything on this subject, perhaps you may find it interesting??? boring was my feeling all the way through.

Don't Kiss them Goodbye,
By Sharon A. Hollingsworth "Constant reader" (Halifax Nova Scotia Canada) - See all my reviews (REAL NAME)
This review is from: Don't Kiss Them Good-bye (Hardcover)
This is the second of Allison DuBois' books that I have read and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Anyone who has suffered the loss of a loved one would likely find, as I did, that her writings of connecting with people who have passed on gives them hope that perhaps after all, death is not forever. I am a skeptical person and always viewed mediums like Allison as rather "weird" but I have found a new spirituality from reading this book as well as the first one I read entitled "We are their Heaven." Allison is a profoundly insightful and intelligent woman, highly sensitive to the needs of others, and very convincing as she tells of helping survivors to find comfort through enabling them to connect with those who are no longer a physical presence in their lives. I highly recommend this for anyone who is prepared to read it with an open mind.

Excellent Medium book,
By A Customer
This review is from: Don't Kiss Them Good-Bye (Paperback)
I really loved this book and love the show, but I found funny that in her book, Allison Dubois wrote that she rarely gets to dream and in the tv show she's always dreaming like it's fondamental how her gift works. In each tv show the character gets her information from her dreams. I just pointed this out, because it's a subjet that skepticals would use against her. But the book is enjoyable and is perfect for readers who reads about psychic mediums and afterlife stories.
