Funk With Their Hearts June 1 2005
By Michael Kerner - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Audio CD
Since the Black Eyed Peas came out a couple of years, the feeling of their songs just have been one non-stop dance party after another. The feeling about the songs have made them our latest B-52's, and the latest track is absolutely no acception. Don't Phunk With My Heart, the first single from the upcoming record Monkey Business, is a very upbeat and remarkable dance song. It is very catchy and just a good song to listen to. I really can't stop listening to this great song. It definitely makes me want to get up and boogey my heart on the dance floor.

Great creativity Aug. 30 2005
By DJQewl - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Audio CD
First, I'd just like to say that this is the best song I've heard from any artist in quite a while. I do think that their biggest hit, "Let's get it Started", was a bit better though... The remix on this CD isn't that good, using "Don't f*** with my heart" as the main line. I would get their Monkey Business CD, it has alot of great songs on it.

I would also like to point out that to anyone who cares to read the song credits could realize that this song DOES NOT contain stolen music!

From the booklet:

"and a sample from "Yeh Mera Dil Yaar Ka Diwana" sung by Asha Bhosle, composed by Kalyanji Anandji, lyrics by Indeewar, from the film "DON", sound recording owned by Saregama India Ltd., published by Saregama India Ltd. (IPRS) / Saregama PLC. USED BY PERMISSION."

I think someone made a fuss about this on blackeyedpeas.com, and everyone got embarrased when they were proven wrong.

radeo killed the video star Aug. 12 2005
By D - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Audio CD
sorry, but to me, this was, key word, WAS, a good song, i danced, sang, even in the shower.(ya, that bad) then i heard it on the radio, cool, i like it. 10 minutes later..."no no no don't mess with my heart." wait, first of all, it's PHUNK! it sounds offensive. phh. but, about 10 listens later, i was sick of this song, and they still play it!!!! i think "my humps" should've been a single, i never get tierd of it. but this, literally, radio killed the video star[s]. don't buy it, you'll hear it enough on the radio. it WAS a creative good song, then radio played it too much.

Phunky Single May 29 2005
By Simba - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Audio CD
Don't phunk with my heart is an excellent single.

But take in mind that singles only concentrate on one song, Don't Phunk with my heart is great, but when theres only one song breaking up the Radio and other mixes it gets quite repetitive and annoying.

I suggest if you like this song spend the extra do$h on buying the full cd and love the whole bunch of songs. It's much more worth it.

If you want the remixes though unfortunately you'll have to buy the single, hopefully one of these days the BEP will release an awesome selection of their Hits Remixed.

Black Eyed Peas stole from R.D. Burman May 28 2005
By Dev - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Audio CD
Most people will tell you how great this album is and how the BEP are so "original" with their genre bending sound. But when you hear this album, you will get the feeling that you've heard it all before (and you probably have). Yes its true that music recycles itself, but I think it is unfair for artists to make money and not give credit to the original.

The sample used in "Don't Phunk with my Heart" is from 1978 Bollywood movie "Don" and the song they sampled from is "Yeh Mera Dil Payar Ka Diwana". Listen to the original, its way better.
