4.0 out of 5 stars Great for Art Teachers April 8 2012

I am an art teacher and I keep these books on hand for my art students to use in their free time. Although I do not allow them to tear out the pages they are welcome to look at them and follow the drawing instructions on separate paper. These are great for my younger students to gain confidence in their own drawing abilities. The pictures are helpful and precise and if followed carefully will yield a great drawing every time.

Although I know the book was designed as a tear-out I do wish the pages did not come out so easily hence the 4 stars rather than 5.

Book delivered very quickly and in excellent shape. This children's book which teaches how to doodle looks easy and fun. The pages start with an easy shape and show step by step how to draw something. There are blank spaces to practice directly in the book. I'm sure the grandkids are having fun with it.

5.0 out of 5 stars How ingenious ... and fun! April 8 2011

My two daughters love this series of books.

Both of the girls like to draw. One is a bit better at it (she practices more).

With this book, the "better" artist of the two has been able to create superb drawings (and amuse/impress herself) while her sister has been able to build confidence in her drawing ability (by becoming better and better at drawing things that she never thought she could draw).

That the images to be "doodled" start with letters or numbers is itself a fun feature of the books.

These books get an A+ from this family.
