Wait for the 2nd ed,

I had to get this book for my pharm class and it's a great book. However, LOTS of errors. Since it's the 1st Canadian ed. I would wait for the 2nd ed if you can. If not and you need it for a class like I did, be aware that there are errors, and you may be doing the calc. right.My teachers did up their own revised outline for us because the company wouldn't. Other then the errors though, it's easy to follow and you can do all the work right in the book.

This book was an optional book for our nursing program. I purchased it and then didn't use it until I was reviewing for final and national exams. It was then that I appreciated it and wished that I had given more time to it during the course. I know for my classmates that were struggling with their drug calculations, this book was invaluable throughout the program. It starts at the basics and works you way through to the more complex calculations. The book presents realistic labels that you will see when working too so you can become familiar with them. Love the feel and presentation of the material. It's a good quality book (pages, binding, etc.)
