You Reap What You Sow, April 30 2006
By Ms Toni "Readinista Extraordinaire" - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Double Dose (Paperback)
Convict Tyrell Stants is a master of words and manipulation. He knows just what to say, when to say it, and how to say it. Tyrell has pen pals all over the country varying by race, age, and sex. Collect calls, food, clothes, money..whatever Tyrell wants, one of his pen pals is more than happy to provide.
After eight long years, Tyrell is about to reclaim his freedom, His pen pals are ecstatic, but Tyrell has other plans; plans that don't involve them but does involve their money.
You can only do so much wrong before it catches up to you. Will Tyrell get away with his con or end up conned?
Double Dose gives readers a double dose helping of drama and action. There was a nice build up, good character development and interesting sub-plots. The only draw back was the author alluded to things that were going to happen a little bit too much for me. I would have rather those situations played out without being warned in advance. All in all, Melvin Robertson has produced a promising debut and I look forward to the next dose.

This book was wonderful. It kept you wanting to know what was Tyrell next master plan for his many pen-pals. He was the ultimate schemer, lier,& player of all times. It also makes you think twice about being someones penpal from prison.
