Comparisons between Kid606 and Nurse with Wound may be warranted to a degree, as they could both be considered noise experimentalists. However, Kid606 takes a much more beat oriented approach to his experimentation than NWW, straying into an almost hip-hopish territory much of the time. This is challenging music, and not something most will have the ears for. Imagine newer Autechre meets Merzbow meets Doormouse, and you may begin to have an idea of what this sounds like. If that sounds like your style, I recomend you pick this up as soon as you can.

This is a mind blowing recording..i bought it months ago and was just looking it up again and decided to write a review.. when the first few minutes of the album played i thought "oh no...one more harsh, noisy, ambient album to throw on the pile" but once the beats start hitting home ,as distorted or overdriven as they are, you know youve hit the jackpot this is definately one of the best cds in my collection...definately the more you listen to it, the more you hear... theres always something new to focus on.. .. ive heard tons of artist have vocal emulators speak on recordings before...but the singing robot on the last track in this cd is the best ive ever heard P.S. I love you...
