2.0 out of 5 stars Disappointing and incomplete, Mar 26 2011
By Task - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Bestiary of Krynn (Hardcover)
I am really shocked at the creatures missing from this. It's as if they went out of their way to leave out the most important of Krynn's monsters. So let's see, no draconians, (unless you count that "noble" crap), no minotaurs, no bakali, no ogre titans. I could probably let some of those go, but NO DRACONIANS? Seriously, these are critical to the game. Couldn't they have dedicated a few pages to them? Also some of the challenge ratings are way off. Having a CR 8 for a shadow wight, which could annihilate a character in one hit (1d8 charisma damage could kill a lot of fighters) erasing them from existence is ridiculous. I just can't give this book better than 2.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great additional resource, Nov 29 2010
By DK - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Dragonlance Bestiary of Krynn Revised (Hardcover)
So, I liked the idea that Dragonlance uses all the 3.5 manuals already printed by Wizards, that way you can use all those books you've already purchased with Dragonlance instead of replacing one or the other. I've played Eberron, Pathfinder and Forgotten Realms, but I'm liking the Dragonlance (with additions from Pathfinder) to be the best. I always thought it dumb to print books to be used with a particular backdrop of rules, but not to incorporate those rules into your world, but Dragonlance did it, and did it well. Very great products and I am excited to start my own campaign before too long!

4.0 out of 5 stars More wonderful creatures..., July 30 2007
By J. Leser - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Dragonlance Bestiary of Krynn Revised (Hardcover)
A wonderful resource for anyone interested in the world of Krynn, especially those running a game set in the world. It provides an array of choices for creatures unique and native to this campaign setting for those DMs wishing to use creatures native to Krynn instead of those generic creatures from the Monster Manual series.
