3.0 out of 5 stars Not bad, Feb 21 2003
This review is from: Dreamweaver MX: The Complete Reference (Paperback)
I guess the book is good for someone who doesn't have any idea about anything regarding script languages and database
I believe all the talking about the different script languages and SQl should have been in an appendix not as regular chapters
I really didn't buy the book to bother myself with ASP, HTML....
which I already know. I bought the book to learn about DWMX.
Some contents overlap with one another, too.
No examples whatsoever.
Wrox just published Beg DWMX this month.
I guess I am gonna go buy it

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic reference and tutorial!, Jan 8 2003
This review is from: Dreamweaver MX: The Complete Reference (Paperback)
This book is written the way computer books should be written -- easy to follow, tutorial style that also acts as a reference. Also, one of the main problems with books of this type is the adherence to the manual that is supplied with the software. That is not the case with this book. There is almost no overlap with the manual. There are quite a few Dreamweaver books out there, but most of the books I've seen are mere rehashings of the manual. Thanks to the authors Ray West and Tom Muck for delivering a quality work.
