1.0 out of 5 stars Inspired Music Lacks Inspiration Feb. 10 2004
By A Customer
Format:Audio CD
Albums that are typically inspired by a movie turn out to either be one of the better albums of the year or a lackluster effort.
"Dreamworld" happens to be the later - a lackluster attempt at music 'inspired' by the "Matrix" movie. The album totally misses its target. Instead of being an album that captures the energy and fighting human spirit of the "Matrix" movie, this movie is decidely stuck in the "Matrix" and sedated.
The songs lack anything original as they borrow their anthems and themes from the mainstream acts used on the Matrix Soundtracks - i.e. Rob Dougan, Propellorheads, Lunatic Calm, etc.
Basically, steer clear of this album and stick with the original soundtracks as they better capture the attitude and persona of the Matrix movies.

5.0 out of 5 stars I love this CD Dec 15 2003
Format:Audio CD
This is the best I have ever heard in this genre of CD music. The music is out of this world....very intense. Very different in a great way! I hope Zednanreh will be releasing more stuff like this. He captures the feeling of the movie very well. He is more unique than the soundtracks are. They just give the standard run of the mill "artists of the month" to sell the CD's.
It helped me to understand the content of the movie even better.
I highly recommend this not only to matrix fans, but fans of 2012 prophecy and global conspiracy theorists as well. Lovers of chill out, techno, and house - even industrial will also praise this cd.

This is one of the best cd's released in its category! The songs blend together in a virtual journey through space and time!!!This cd will take you where you've never been before...like the Matrix, it is deep, philosophical and with concepts that really open your eyes...and of course your ears :) Listen to it more then once--get into it; you'll see the truth and the powerful message behind it. A MUST HAVE!!!don't skip this one--great blend of tunes--original, unique--you will not regret it, I PROMISE!

1.0 out of 5 stars Not like the soundtracks July 29 2004
By Brian
Format:Audio CD
The songs on this CD are nothing like the Matrix soundtracks. Their relatively slow beats and word-heavy songs make them more like listening to someone read poetry to the beat of a bongo than the fast-paced music from the movie. If you liked the movie soundtracks because of their fast-paced techno themes and (sometimes) operatic choruses, don't buy this CD.

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing! Dec 7 2003
Format:Audio CD
Very deep concepts that seem to be inspired by the writings of David Icke as much as the matrix! David icke himself expands on the matrix concepts. check out his web site davidicke.com and see the interwoven themes between icke, zednanreh and the Matrix trilogy. Well done... The song titles and artists even carry the theme....ingenious!
