Albums that are typically inspired by a movie turn out to either be one of the better albums of the year or a lackluster effort.
"Dreamworld" happens to be the later - a lackluster attempt at music 'inspired' by the "Matrix" movie. The album totally misses its target. Instead of being an album that captures the energy and fighting human spirit of the "Matrix" movie, this movie is decidely stuck in the "Matrix" and sedated.
The songs lack anything original as they borrow their anthems and themes from the mainstream acts used on the Matrix Soundtracks - i.e. Rob Dougan, Propellorheads, Lunatic Calm, etc.
Basically, steer clear of this album and stick with the original soundtracks as they better capture the attitude and persona of the Matrix movies.
