Product Description

From the Manufacturer

The Dremel 3000 is the workhorse of the Dremel brand. New enhancements such as the EX Twist "integrated wrench" nose cap allows you to switch between accessories without the Dremel wrench. The 360-Degree grip-zone improves balance and comfort while the improved venting and redesigned fan makes the 3000 run cooler and stay comfortable for longer duration jobs.

Like others have said in their reviews, once you buy one you just keep finding jobs for it and wonder why you didn't get one years ago.

better than sliced bread Dec 16 2012

I never realized how many different projects could be accomplished with my Dremel 3000. I have started using my dremel to do art work. Drawing my ideas on left over wood then using the different points and my imagination I have come up with some interesting works.

This is a great little tool! it is lightweight, easy to use and fits my hand well. There are all kinds of accessories available but be sure you check before you buy, not all accessories will work with all Dremel models.

I am a glass artist and I bought this tool to drill holes in glass, it works perfectly with the diamond core bits I bought from another source. I am sure I will find other uses for it around my home.

You'll find 100 more uses for it after buying. June 4 2013

I wanted this for 1 job on the honey-do list, which was to cut a piece of metal. I've now used it for a ton of other jobs which NO OTHER TOOL CAN ACCOMPLISH. There is a niche need for this tool.

Cut door framing for my new hardwood floor thresholds.
Cut padlocks.
Trimmed metal framing beneath back door.
Cut channels in wood for shelving.
Sharpened my tools.
Turned scrap wood into textured pictures for gifts.

Also, get the Dremel MULTI-MAX oscillating tool. These Dremels make an awesome tag team.

Love the fact that this tool does not require the wrench to install or remove attachments. This is an amazing benefit for me. Attachments it comes with are a great starting point.

I love the way it fits in my hand, easy to hold and small enough to get in closed spaces, yet it has plenty of power
