Perfect, use these on my dog's nails. Lasts much longer than the fine sander bands. Would order again when needed.

These are perfect for nail trimming. I use them on my Golden Retriever. The smaller, thinner band took way too long, these grind the nails down in a jiff. Awesome, definitely recommend.

Dremel Dog Sander Bands Jan. 18 2009
By Mark B. - Published on Amazon.com
Durability:    Educational:    Fun:
I purchased the Dremel Rechargeable Rotary Sander to use for my dog's nails. Great tool! I also purchased the fine bands and the coarse bands. The coarse bands did a much better job at grinding down my dog's nails. I have a large dog with thick nails, so the fine bands worked, but it took much longer and they wore out much quicker than the coarse bands. If you have a small dog with thin nails the fine bands will probably work fine.
I will try to find these at a local hardware, because shipping is too expensive for such a small package.

Great for Dog Nails! Nov. 7 2012
By janiwork - Published on Amazon.com

We bought the Dremel sander and sander bands refills to groom our dog nails. We use it to sand our dog's nails. The sander is not loud, does not hurt, we let our dogs "sniff" it while it was off, then turned it on and let them "look" at it, (it will hurt them if their nose touches it while it is on). We started on the back paws having to turn it off and on because they were a bit afraid of it, but it wasnt loud, it just hummed. After doing one nail, we turned it off, did another nail, turned it off, but they soon got used to it and just let us finish. The battery lasted the entire time it took to do 3 medium dogs and the sander bands lasted for a session a month for at least 3 months. The Dremel, the sanding bands and the battery are all wonderful for dog grooming. PLEASE know that when you hold the dog paw, sand the nail sideways and then bottom to top, it hurt them when we sanded the nail top to bottom. Start off slow, do one nail just for a touch, turn it off, let them "sniff" it while its off, then do another nail just for a touch, and pretty soon the dogs will be used to it. You can see the nail bed as you are sanding, so you wont sand it too short. We save $36.00 a month at the vet.

Perfect for the Dremel 7300-PT for pet's nails July 11 2012
By Kilo Delta - Published on Amazon.com

Our Dremel 7300-PT came with a fine 120 grit sander band for grinding down our dog's nails. We used fine sander bands for the first year of owning the Dremel, but they did take a bit of time to grind down our shetland sheepdogs' nails. It occurred to me to use a coarse grit to speed up the process, and these bands do the job well, and it's an easy process to take the old band off and put the new one on. The coarse grit does indeed work more quickly and because of that, I don't think they heat up the dogs' nails like the fine grit does.... using these coarse grit bands, the dogs don't kick nearly as much so it seems they're more comfortable.

I'm a happy camper and I'll buy them again. They're an "Add-On" product so even though I have Amazon Prime, my order total has to be $25 to order these. So, I just keep these Dremel bands in my "shopping cart" as a reminder to myself and when we're down to the last band in the 6-pack, I'll add this onto a bigger order. I order frequently enough from Amazon that it's not much of an issue to me. =)

Great Bands Dec 29 2010

Bands work very well on my pet grooming drill. The coarse ones work best for me since my Basset has some seriously tough nails.

The best for doing dog nails! July 18 2014
By Jan McAfee - Published on Amazon.com

If you are using your Dremel for dog toenails, you need these bands. Granted, I do have small dogs, but I can do each dog in a matter of minutes. Tip for dog nails: Do the tips of the nails first, from slightly underneath. Three seconds per nail, then move to the next (so it doesn't get too hot.) I usually do this three times, then the last passover, smooth the top and sides of the nail. Take care to not touch your dog's toe pad, or they will never, ever forgive you, LOL!
