Built to be Compact and Comfortable
Thanks to its lightweight design, the Dremel MiniMite cordless two-speed rotary tool is ideal for working on delicate projects. Weighing 1.4 pounds, this tool features a pencil-grip nose and soft-grip sides for secure handling. Because it's only eight inches long, it is comfortable to hold and use for as long as you need.

Multiple Attachments and Speeds for All Your Project Needs
Included with the Dremel 7300-N/8 rotary tool are three sanding drums, a felt wheel, sanding band, mandrel, and silicon carbine stone. The included wrench makes changing accessories quick and easy.

The blue switch on the housing lets you move from low to high speed, while the separate off option helps you avoid accidentally changing speed settings while you work. Because this tool offers two different speeds, you're able to fully control the accuracy--and outcome--of your work.

Cordless for Convenience
No more searching for power outlets--this tool gives you 4.8 volts of battery power, so you can work wherever you need to. The battery pack can be removed from the housing and popped into the charger--the rotary tool will be ready to go within three hours. As an added convenience, a bright LED indicates when the battery has been properly placed on the charger.

This is an excellent product for trimming pet nails. The tool is very quiet at low speed and the battery stays charged for a very reasonable length of time. The price through Amazon was the lowest I could find. The product was delivered prior to the expected delivery date.

Jan 2013 - have been using this tool every week since it arrived to do pet nails and it works just great. I recharge it for 3 hours after every 2nd use.

Dremel should really just market this as a tool for trimming dog nails. It's great, the battery lasts, no cords to get snagged with.

I've noticed the coarser bit works best on my Great Dane's nails. We started with the finer paper, but it just took too long. More vibration with the coarser stuff, but it gets the job done much faster.

Edit: Two years later, and we're replacing the Dremel (with the exact same Dremel). The bit doesn't fit properly anymore. Need a whole new tool, not just to replace the bit.

Fantastic dremel. I actually had an older edition of this used exclusivly for grinding my dogs nail but became unresponsive when the battery connector ozidixed. I did not use this for any other purpose.

Comes with 2 speed level, with various bits for different purposes (only have expereince with the sand belt). As mentioned, used for dog grinding only and works great. I only use low speed though to prevent overheating. Alot cheaper than getting dog specific grindings. Please do watch out if you are going to be using it for this purpose to not catch your dog hair on it as it will pull it right off.

In package, it does come with a sizable charger that you need to dismount the battery from and to in order to charge, can be a hassle but better than cable I suppose.

Overall, for dog usage, I would personally purchase again. Amazon also seemed to have a better pricing than in store

I bought this to replace an older model of this tool, which I have had for the last 20 years. This tool is very useful for model work and light drilling and other jobs around the house.

I love this, works well for hollowing a section of antler of a knife handle for inlay, definitely powerful enough and light too.

It's good for the price but very slow and weak motor impacting performance. Would recommend wired if you can tolerate it.

Bought this mainly to grind our dogs nails. Being cordless is a huge bonus and it is very quiet. Performance is great with no loss of power and we're able to trim both our dogs nails and still have loads of power left. Anyone looking for a good value grinder look no further.
