This is an excellent book for anyone who is serious about recovery. It's not official AA approved literature but that does not mean it's not an important source of information. It is the experiences of several 'members' and how they have used different tools to begin the process of removing character defects and essentially become better people. My goal in recovery life is to be able to be able to live and react with my fellow man better than I did when I was in active addiction and Drop The Rock has helped me. I strongly recommend this book!..Karl B.

I consider Drop the Rock to be my textbook for working steps 6 and 7. I've read my raggedy copy many times over and always learn something new. I just had to get a copy for my sponsee after she did her 5th step!
