5.0 out of 5 stars Talk about Adventure!, Mar 23 2010

I'm on page 250 of Dublin Crossing and am completely delighted by this book! Your details are descriptive yet not overbearing--allowing the reader to create their own picture as the story moves. Some authors have a strong voice for the main characters and all the rest seem to blend into one ambiguous sound. Not so with you. Not only can I distinctly identify the 5 or so main characters, but also an entire cast that spans 3 countries! Reading this story is like going to a theatrical production where all of the extras have talent enough for the lead. A marvelous work to be sure!

It's one of those books that I cannot wait to finish, yet I want it to go on forever.

Thank you for writing these stories!

I had gotten a couple of the books in this series when I was younger and wanted to get the rest - which I did. All of them are set in Ireland of yesteryear, showing how they lived and the way faith was approached at the time. They all have great adventures and will keep you occupied, they're all pretty hard to put down. The only note I have is that it switches viewpoints a lot, different chapters are shown from different character's points of views, which isn't a bad thing but you have to keep track.
