DO NOT PURCHASE FOR USE WITH 64 BIT SYSTEMS!!

I've been a fan of Cardscan - figured it was time to upgrade from 6 to 9.
Not sure it was the right move - first and foremost IT DOES NOT WORK WITH 64 BIT SYSTEMS - so the primary advantage of being small and portable makes it unusable with my laptop.
Using this on my 32 bit desktop, the software as always quickly and accurately scans and translates information from most business cards.
But the old feature of one-click sending the data to Outlook seems to be gone and requires a much more cumbersome (and potentially duplicating) process of synchronizing.
ah, synchronizing ... seems every program that attempts this gets close, but no cigar.
Think twice before purchasing this item - make sure you are not using more current systems ....

Could not get to work on Windows7

Followed the install instructions for the device. Was able to calibrate using the card provided, but every time I tried to scan a real business card the software would crash. Spent ~2 hrs on the phone with Dymo tech support. They had me try a number of different things, including emailing me two different versions of the software to try. Finally the tech support guy (who was friendly) was out of options and suggested I try the scanner on another computer. As this was a work issued computer, another computer was not an option and I was forced to return the scanner.

Great Card reader...BUT no application to use the data on an ANDROID. How can a company today make a product for contacts and not have it the data directly exportable to the Android system....DUH
