4.0 out of 5 stars i got a feelin'..., Oct 31 2009

a first i wasn't too interested in buying this album, the first single "boom boom pow" didn't grab my attention... it was catchy but not enough for me to think this was something i HAD to get right now...

all that changed when i heard the cbs 2009-2010 fall line-up preview...

"i got a feeling" is for sure my favorite track on this album... the deluxe edition's second disc sort of rehashes old hits but put a new spin on them...

i usually buy full albums and deluxe editions when i can, and if there's more than one song on the album that i like before i buy it, that makes me want it...

this album shows a different side to the black eyed peas, and the time that fergie spent away is evident as well... put truly surprising is will.i.am... as usual, he's the backbone that drives the rhythm, but his vocals seem to have gotten an edge to them...

perhaps the time the group spent apart has made them come back together with a richer, fuller sound...

3.0 out of 5 stars A Decent Effort for the BEP, Feb 6 2010
The album is a house/dance music CD. It isn't really my scene, but I still like about half of the tracks. Awesome tunes include I Gotta Feeling, Meet Me Halfway, Boom Boom Pow, One Tribe, and Rock That Body. It's really up to the listener's preference.
