5.0 out of 5 stars Finally found an album where Bass leads...., Sep 14 2001

This review is from: East Coast Jazz / 5 (Audio CD)
After a long search for a bass heavy or solo album, I found East Coast Jazz #5. In almost everytrack, you can hear bass lead and the recording quality is excellent. This album, remastering of recordings from the 50s, features one of the few occasions and people (Milt "Judge" Hinton)of that era that bring bass to the forefront. A total joy if your sound system is good in the lows.
