Easy, Fast & Beautiful Samplers, April 25 2000
By Julie A. Elkes "Motherhood@48" - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Easy-To-Make Cross-Stitch Samplers and Mottoes: 24 Charted Designs (Paperback)
This softbound booklet would appeal to both the novice cross stitcher and the more advanced needleworker. The charts are very easy to read and follow, with few colors of floss to use for each project, making each sampler an inexpensive way to stitch a gift, or something special for your home. Although some of the samplers look as though they are intricately detailed, the stitching is quite easy. A novice can look like they've been doing cross stitch for years, and the more experienced stitcher will be able to do one of these in a matter of a few days at the most. An excellent buy for the price, as well as the number and variety of samplers included in the booklet.

Not worth it, Sep 4 2011

The samplers in this book will remind you of the 40+ year old stamped cross stitch pieces you used to be able to buy in the local 5 & 10. The charts are very basic and the floss colors used to complete them are less than flattering. Unless you are a beginning stitcher and are just learning this craft, don't waste your money on this one.
