I have looked for this dvd for a very long time at local retailers with absolutely no luck. I found it here along with Grand Theft Auto as a double dvd set. It is exactly what I was looking for and was shipped in a timely manner and arrived undamaged.

Gotta hand it to Shout Factory! They are honoring and preserving these classic 'B' movies in such a respectable and jammed packed set of releases. They are seriously giving Criterion a run for their money now. Sure, these might be schlock, drive in, grind house, private pleasure, kitsch and camp movies. But even at a young age when I watched something like Eat My Dust And/or Grand Theft Auto - there was something about them that I knew was going to last. Sure, great car stunts, silly moments, sexy 70's women, and Ron Howard swearing (No! Not Opie! Not Ritchie Cunningham! Cover your ears children!) But somehow the way it was filmed, edited, directed, and the familiar faces and names that kept recurring. Ron Howard and family, Paul Bartel, Joe Dante, Jon Davison... These guys were either over worked, or just had a true love for movie making and were slowly climbing the ladder to their own brass rings. Sure enough, when you watch the extra's, you get such a new appreciation for it all. Roger Corman's courtesy; making the most with the less; the happy accidents; the laughable regrets. There is more 'spirit' in these movies than all the car crashes, nipples, and corny dialog combined. And it's truly infectious over some low budget, fly by night, un-creative piece of drivel glorifying sex and violence just to make a nickel. It's great to see the humble pride of all involved, and it's prideful for someone like myself after all these years to have made that initial note of these movies. Still fun, still creative, and thanks to Shout Factory! - Still cheap!

A set Roger Corman's Classic. In this set It was Ron Howard's first staring rolls and his first directing. they are both about car chases, for the time they are well done. A must see if you are a Ron fan.
