I chose this scale because of the reviews I read on Amazon.com which had over 1200 very good reviews. You just stand on this digital scale and it displays your weight - no tapping necessary. The blue back light is bright and makes reading the large numbers easy. As with digital scales it needs to be calibrated before use but the instructions are clear and calibration is easy to do. You have the choice to see your weight in pounds, kilograms or stones. The only reason I rate it at 4 and not 5 is that I have only had it for 2 months. I am hoping that if it was a 'lemon' I would know by now. The weight shown seems to be accurate as I recently compared it to my doctors scale. I recommend this scale.

Did a lot of research on digital scales, and e very where I looked, it said this was the most accurate one. Seems accurate, sometimes. Overnight I can lose (or gain) 12 pounds, even after recalibrating. I even use 15 pound hand weights to ensure that it is accurate. Then I weigh myself, within 20 minustes of each time, and I can gain 4-6 pounds. I think the old fashioned scales are a much better deal. Now, don't weigh myself.....just feeling good about who I am

I wanted this scale because I heard how accurate and easy to use it was. They were right, it's a great product.However, the price is outrageous. This product is listed for $28.99 USD on American websites, but sells for $58.99 CDN on Canadian sites. That's an exchange rate of over 2.0! I tried to order it in USD and pay for the shipping from the states, but of course this is not allowed. Good product, insane price.
