FUN FARE FOR GAYS AND STRAIGHTS,

"Eating Out 2" is gay comedy at its most uproarious, and I see no point in repeating the sterling qualities previous reviewers have lavished upon it. The film's exposure of the highly-lucrative but highly-destructive
ex-gay industry is absolutely shattering and hillarious with the twist of pretending to be ex-gay in order to find a gay partner. But its crude portrayal of most of the female characters is thoughtless and little short of sexist. What a pity that production deadlines did not allow the writers more time to reflect on the script! With a little more refinement, taste, and character development, "Eating Out 2" could have vied with "La Cage aux Folles/The Bird Cage," rising above fun fare to become classic haute cuisine for gays and straights.

I liked the original Eating Out, and 2 is even more fun and I swear the guys are even better looking! Sequals usually tend to be a bit of a disappointment, but this one hits the mark right on. Or in this case the "Kyle". WOW! But aside from him the movie is well made, outrageous, fun and a great evenings entertainment. Can't wait for #3: Menage a Trois!

As much as I thoroughly and repeatedly enjoy Eating Out 1, as B Movie as it is, this is the equal if not superior sequel! Production values are obviously much higher here. Troy is an "eyeful" for sure, and Octavio is a knockout too! One cast change was equal to equal, if not an improvement. This is a thoroughly entertaining, funny movie, with lots of gay wit and one-liners (pay attention throughout eh). Dare we ask for Eating Out 3: Bangers?
