This review is from: Echo Stories for Children: Celebrating Saints and Seasons in Word and Action (Paperback)
I have used this book with my 4th grade CCD class, as well as with my own children. I like to use it toward the end of class when the kids are starting to get restless and need to get up and stretch a bit. The children really enjoy the plays and they learn about the Saints at the same time. It could be used in a Catholic classroom, CCD class, KidsNet meeting, in a homeschool setting, and more. The book can easily be tied to the liturgical calendar as there are echo plays that relate to Advent, Christmas, Lent, Easter, and several Saints' feast days. If you haven't done echo plays before, it is very simple. The leader stands before the class and acts out the play, and the children echo the leader's actions and words.
