For over 2 hours, Eddie Izzard will keep you informed and, more importantly, in stitches.
I've seen several Eddie Izzard tapes and DVDs. I've even seen him live in Dublin, Ireland for his "Sexie" tour. And "Dress to Kill" is by far his best. He rarely falters in his comedy or ad-libbed genius. And whenever he does, he makes it into a joke that'll keep the momentum of the performance going strong.
It's hard to review a stand-up routine. Let's just say that his is one of the better ones. You get an unique perspective on the American Dream, landing on the moon, transvestites in the military, squirrels in make-up, Easter, Stonehenge, President Clinton, first sexual experiences and so on. This is truly a keeper, one you can watch over and over again. It's also highly quotable; you may find yourself repeating random lines from the performance, only to be effronted by a non-viewer.
"You haven't seen 'Dress to Kill' yet?" you say incredulously, right before bringing them to your house for an immediate viewing. Convert all of your friends. "Dress to Kill" is pure comedic murder.
