I find this movie a bit of a departure, in a sense, from the roles that one might normally associate with Anthony Hopkins. I was not quite sure what to expect as Hopkins and Baldwin fighting for survival amidst the Alaskan frontier, fighting for survival even though there is nothing that connects them, nothing they have in common, except for the desire for Hopkins' wife, who is awaiting word on their whereabouts, back at a small airport. If it wasnt enough that a grizzly who has tasted human blood, is now thirsty for theirs and tracking their every movement, Hopkins also has to contend with the notion that Baldwin is also trying to kill him before they return home. Yet, Baldwin knows his only chance for survival is to keep the intelligent and cunning Hopkins alive. Both actors are strong in their respective roles. It is a movie filled with non-stop action, suspense and at times humour. Excellent scenes of Alaska and the great outdoors, keeps the movie running at at quick pace. Rivers, snow, mountains, log cabins all fit neatly into this movie of 'survival of the fittest"
