Edible Garden Weeds of Canada,
By
This review is from: Edible Garden Weeds of Canada (Paperback)
The information is good, but there are not enough pictures of the plants they are talking about. If you don't know what they look like, how are you going to know what's edible and what isn't.

Best book on edible weeds in my library,
By A Customer - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Edible garden weeds of Canada (Paperback)
The format of this little book lets you carry it in your pocket easily. It is well organized and the illustrations make the plants easy to recognize. Only the best-known weeds are reviewed and most of them can be found all over the world. I would therefore recomment this book non-Canadians as well.Every plant is covered under the following headings: All the names, Latin & common I would also like to point out that Nancy Turner is the co-author. In Canada, this title can be found in every public library. |
